For a multinational leader in the industrial sector, we are looking for an IT Project Manager to lead strategic digitalization and IT integration projects, managing vendors, infrastructure, security, and innovative solutions to support the company's growth.
Main duties and key responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead and deliver IT infrastructure integration projects, ensuring on-time, successful outcomes.
Manage vendor relationships to secure high-quality IT services and solutions.
Oversee design and deployment of IT and network infrastructures for digital manufacturing.
Integrate industrial automation systems with ICT core systems for seamless data flow and control.
Implement IoT solutions and sensor technologies to turn real-time production data into actionable insights.
Infrastructure & Data Management
Ensure IT infrastructure security, including data protection and proactive threat management.
Develop and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) strategies.
Manage end-to-end data lifecycle: collection, secure storage, and advanced analytics.
Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and AI to optimize manufacturing processes and enable predictive insights.
Create reports and dashboards to monitor production efficiency and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaboration & Strategic Input
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital technologies into production workflows.
Coordinate with partners and vendors to define infrastructure specifications, suggesting improvements and upgrades.
Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network technology infrastructure.
Candidate requirements
Technical Skills
Project Management: Scope definition, planning, team leadership, communication, risk management, problem-solving, budgeting, stakeholder management, adaptability, quality assurance, and proficiency with tools like Microsoft Project.
Digital Foundation (desired): Knowledge of Azure AD, Active Directory, Google Identity Directory, Cloud Hyperscalers, LAN/WAN/network topology (Cisco, Checkpoint, Ubiquity, Aruba/HPE, SDWAN VMware), hypervisors, cloud-first approaches, microservices, Windows Server, and backup solutions.
Cybersecurity (optional): Understanding of cybersecurity principles, MFA, risk assessment, BIA, disaster recovery, and OT security.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years in a similar role.
