Java Developer (Contract) - Zurich - German Speaker

We're looking for an experienced Senior Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to be part of an exciting new project that will run until the end of the year.
You'll be part of a fast moving, agile team developing secure and innovative software solutions using modern Java technologies.

More information is below but key points are:

• On-site in central Zurich
• Fluent in German is essential
• Java / Kotlin / Kafka / CI/CD Integration experience is key
• Contract runs until the end of 2025

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain Java/Kotlin applications using Spring Boot

• Integrate CICD pipelines, Kafka, and cloud-based technologies

• Take ownership of high-level development tasks and hands-on implementation

• Collaborate closely with agile teams and contribute to open-minded, cross-functional work

• Apply your expertise in secure coding practices and banking fundamentals

What we're looking for:

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer

• Solid expertise in Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, CICD, Kafka, and cloud technologies

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and effective teamwork

• Analytical, structured mindset with a strong sense of responsibility

• Fluent in German (required)
