Title: Lead Network Engineer
Location: Fully Remote (Must be US based, working on EST)
Type: 6 Month Contract
Max Pay Rate: $90/hr W2
Visa: Must be US Citizen or GC Holder (No 3rd Party Employers)
Our Indusrty leading client is seeking an experienced Lead/Senior Network Engineer to assist in the desing & implementation of their next-gen Newtork Infrastrcuture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructures across a globally distributed organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers.
- Act as a subject matter expert in networking technologies and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize network performance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Implement monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to and resolve escalated network issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of network documentation standards.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Lead/Senior Network Engineer or similar role in a large-scale global environment.
- 7+ years experience/knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in routing, switching, firewall administration, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network security and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
