A multi-BILLION dollar premier risk solution firm providing service to policy holders, insurers, and capital partners is look to expand their team by hiring a new Investment Accountant. Since they were founded only 10 years ago, they have already grown to $10 Billion in AUM! Currently backed by a strong asset manager, they are putting forward $7 million to expand and reshape their finance division and invest their future into these individuals. Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Book the monthly investment accounting journal entry
  • Reconcile the ledger to the investment system
  • Complete quarterly and annual portions of the investment schedules
  • Assist with investment movements
  • Book entries related to investments
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly GAAP statements
  • Preparation of quarterly investment income analysis

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Experience in investment accounting for a financial services company (insurance a plus)
  • Understanding of Statutory and GAAP accounting
  • Detail oriented, accurate and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
