A leading global life and annuities insurer is seeking a Manager of Statutory Reporting to join their team. With their high growth model, they have become key players in the insurance space. Job Title: Manager of Statutory Reporting
Location: 100% Remote
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the US STAT financial statements close
- Lead contact for all US statutory accounting and reporting related matters
- Contribute to new strategic initiatives for the business including system implementations
- Supervise, mentor and train staff on US statutory policies and practices
- Implementation and research of all US statutory treatment for transactions
- Build and maintain internal controls
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor in Accounting
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Insurance industry accounting experience a must
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, & Statutory Accounting Principles
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Compensation: $110K - $135K base + bonus
