Our client, a leading player in the Insurance industry, is looking to hire an Actuary specializing in General Insurance Pricing and Modelling for their Commercial Auto segment.
This is a permanent position with ample room for career growth and development within the company. The role can be based from 2 offices in MA or fully remote for the right candidate.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pricing models for Commercial Auto insurance products
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for pricing strategies
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and efficient modelling processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to inform modelling decisions
Key Skills:
- min 1 year experience in P&C Actuarial role
- experience in GLM - both working and building
- Commercial Lines Insurance experience
- MAS 1 pass required and MAS 2 completion preferred - Actuarial Exams
- strong communication skills
- skills in Emblem, ResQ, SAS, SQL, Earnix and R advantageous
