A large independent pensions consultancy seeking a number of Pensions Technical Actuary's to join any one of the UK offices with hybrid working | £45-70k dependent on experience + bonus and benefits

Oliver James are are working with a large independent pensions consultancy seeking a number of Pensions Technical Actuary's to join any one of their UK offices with hybrid working.

You will provide technical pension analysis, calculations and modelling to support the consulting teams in the provision of pensions advice to corporate and trustee clients. You will help to develop the businesses modelling capabilities and support client-facing teams with a range of complex actuarial modelling projects.

Role requirements:

  • Part/Qualified Actuary with good progress or otherwise having a strong grasp of actuarial calculations and techniques e.g. someone who has decided not to continue the exams
  • Experience of working as part of a technical DB pensions team or desire to move into a more technical role
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to step into a technical role with the option to forgo any client facing responsibility. This role will set you up to be an astute and commercial actuary to pave the way for a long term career in pensions or to transition into other areas of the market.
