Our client, a top established Private Equity asset manager, is looking for a Fund Controller to join their expanding private credit fund accounting team. Our client offers a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Managing quarter and year end close processes, including financial statements, external audit, and regulatory reporting
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the internal fund function
- Managementof funds administrator and review of presented data
- Completing Capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations specific to find cash flow
- Participating in the development of internal accounting policy
- Assist with ad-hoc projects across finance department and front office teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- At least 7 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong understand of alternative assets and exposure to private credit funds
- experience with internal audit
- Strong Excel and Microsoft office knowledge
