As Product Owner, you'll sit at the heart of product delivery, working closely with the Head of Product, Operations, and engineering teams to keep sprints on track and turn ambitious ideas into reality. You'll act as the bridge between technical and commercial teams, ensuring user stories, priorities, and outcomes are crystal clear and measurable.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor sprint health metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle times) to pre-empt issues and keep delivery smooth.
Own the Jira board, ensuring tickets, statuses, and priorities are well-organised and visible.
Work with engineering to break epics into detailed, testable user stories with strong acceptance criteria.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT sessions.
Map and optimise lending workflows, identifying automation and UX improvements.
Act as the daily link between Tech and Operations, capturing partner and broker feedback to shape product enhancements
Essential Skills & Experience:
2-4 years in product ownership, product analytics, or business analysis within fintech, lending, or B2B SaaS.
Experience with Jira and Agile delivery, plus a strong understanding of sprint health KPIs.
A sharp ability to translate complex business challenges into user stories and measurable outcomes.
A confident communicator who can move between technical detail and commercial priorities.
Desirable:
Exposure to SME lending, merchant cash advance, or broker ecosystems.
Experience integrating with Open Banking, Companies House, or credit bureaus.
Familiarity with event-driven or microservices architecture.
