We have an exciting hybrid position available in Madrid for a QA Automation Engineer to join our top client for a 12-month project with potential extensions. Responsibilities

• Define and enforce testing standards and best practices for REST APIs and JavaScript portals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Work closely with developers to improve test coverage and automation.

• Proficiency in unitary, integration, and acceptance testing in Java using tools such as JUnit, AssertJ, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Strong experience in UI Testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Jest.
• Familiarity with TDD or BDD driven development.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on quality.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional environments.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Desirable experience with OpenShift (or Kubernetes), Docker, MongoDB, and Splunk.
