Our client, a prestigious player in the Insurance sector, is actively seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Information Technology team on a contractual basis. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet rigorous standards and enhance client satisfaction.
Role & Responsibilities
- Examine and analyze software specifications and requirements to determine the testing strategy.
- Execute detailed manual tests to identify, record, and rectify software bugs and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and project managers to communicate test findings and recommendations.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to the client's insurance solutions.
- Ensure that all testing procedures adhere to industry best practices and company policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to advocate for quality assurance from inception to deployment.
