Senior Reserving Actuary - Malta

Our client is a growing and leading insurance company in Europe. Due to the growth of the business, they are looking to expend their actuary team based in Malta. We are looking to recruit a Senior Reserving Actuary between 4 and 8 year's experience who has a strong knowledge in IFRS17, Solvency II, Reserving and the manual creation of creative models. This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an experienced Reserving Actuary who is looking to join an international and dynamic environment with the ability to work on diverse topics, with continuous growth.
For this role, you will be expected to..
- Support the actuarial team in all data capture, entry and transformation processes and the technical follow up of the Company's insurance portfolios
- Apply the various actuarial reserving methods and decide on the most appropriate reserves for the financial account
- Ensure that the overall calculations are comprehensive, complete and well understood
- Regularly interact with other functions such as Underwriting, Claims, Technical Accounting and Finance as well as with senior management.
Due to the international environment, you will need to be able to communicate and present results in both English and French and therefore excellent communications skills is required.
