Senior Business Analyst - Global insurer - London (ad-hoc international travel required)

I am currently working with a leading insurer in the property and casualty business line looking for a talented individual skilled as a Business Analysis. This business is a global player in the insurance world and has an established presence globally, operating in over 50 countries offering a range of commercial and personal lines, including personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance.
This job provides the opportunity for the right candidate to leverage the entire spectrum of digital capabilities towards solution finding across a variety of unique challenges and business problems. While applying a combination of industry-standard practices, you will also have the opportunity to put forwards innovative ideas to transform the way this business operates.
Responsibilities
- Take stakeholders from the business, operations and technology teams through in discovery journey to analyse current workflows
- Utilising Ai capabilities, collaborate with product owners, business and solution architects to design target state processes and user journey
- Present research reports to identify key insights to stakeholders for informed decision making
- Manage a portfolio of projects in terms of scope, timelines and ensuring functionality meets expectations
- Ensure alignment to product vision and roadmap for all documentation of business requirements, epics and user stories
- Support the E2E journey and ensure alignment to business expectations
- Work with cross functional teams who are globally distributed across multiple time zones (some international travel required)
Skills / Knowledge required:
- Knowledge of the emerging technologies and their potential to impact the insurance industry
- Strong insurance domain knowledge across claims, operations, legal etc, with expertise in Property and Casualty Products, Accident and Health Products or Personal Lines Products
- Industry certifications ACII, FCII, CIP, CPCU preferred
- A creative thinker who can demonstrate skills in conceptualising new product features, define product roadmaps, develop business cases and proposals for solutions build on digital technologies
- Ability to work in an incredibly fast paced environments while delivering creative solutions with limited resources and minimal supervision
- Strong relationship building skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, eye for detail an can interrogate and challenge information provided
