A global P&C insurance carrier is looking to hire a Senior Claims Examiner - General Liability. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for handling mid to complex commercial general liability claims. CGL claims will include premise liability, product liability, auto liability and other bodily injury claims. Claims will involve litigation and coverage matters to extensive experience with both is required to be considered.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 5+ years experience handling complex general liability claims (gained at an insurance carrier)
- Strong experience within CGL, premise liability, product liability and others wide ranging bodily injuries
- Experience with NYLL and/or Construction Accidents preferred but not essential
- Direct experience handling complex CGL losses above $100,000 through to large loss limits
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing own coverage letters/RORs)
- Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states including TX and FL
This role is on a hybrid schedule from Jersey City NJ (3 days office 2 days remote), with a competitive base salary up to $125,000 + 15% annual bonus. The role also offers excellent benefits and a route of progression into large loss claims handling or leadership.
