Senior Compliance Analyst - Regulatory team

Oliver James are excited to be supporting a highly respected Global Insurance Broker with their search for a Senior Compliance Analyst. In this role you will play a key and valued part in delivering regulatory advice and support.

Main responsibilities:

• Report into the Head of Compliance.
• Manage SMCR requirements.
• Provide expert regulatory support to the business.
• Conduct horizon scanning and notify of any regulation changes.
• Staying updated on relevant regulatory updates, UK and US.
• Draft policies in line with regulation.
• Deliver compliance training to wider teams.

Key Skills:

• Strong regulatory compliance experience within insurance is essential.
• Experienced within horizon scanning.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the FCA, in particular PRIN, COCON and ICOBS.
• Experience with US surplus lines would be very beneficial.
• Ability to multitask and take initiative.
• Ability to provide advice and guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
