Senior Developer // £600-650 Inside IR35 // 6-month Initial contract // 3 days on site Manchester City Centre.

Oliver James's leading global asset management client are looking for a Senior Developer to join their Application Platform Engineering team.

In this role you will be doing the preliminary architectures for Kubernetes clusters, deployment pipelines, and provisioning. They are undertaking a major transformation programme which includes significant change to their technology platform and organisation structure including their application estate into a service-based architecture, based on a modern Microsoft Tech Stack, hosted in Azure.

You will also help build their Kubernetes capability for orchestrating containers and develop an operating model.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • AKS / Docker / Kubernetes / Containerisation / CI/CD framework
  • Dev Stack C#, Net Core

As a business, they have a clear plan to digitise their investment process to implement Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Azure Data Lake, .Net 6, Azure Event Hubs, akka, kafka etc.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and software development to be part of this exciting technology transformation.

The team is extremely collaborative, you'll work alongside the IT leadership across the Manchester and London offices, and have the chance of continuous training, coaching and innovation exercises - hackathons, Code Box etc.
