(Senior) IT Consultant (m/f/d) - Lean ERP & Digitalisation
My client is seeking a talented IT Consultant to join their team. They are experts in digitalising business processes through ERP systems and specialise in providing modern, scalable solutions in the areas of ERP, development, and business intelligence. While based in Essen, they emphasise a remote-first approach and only require occasional in-office visits (once or twice every 2 months). On the other hand, if you are someone who prefers working onsite, there is a newly furnished workspace available with modern furnishings and a prime central location.
Your tasks:
- Consult corporates, start-ups on technical implementation, especially ERP systems.
- Analyse customer requirements, existing applications, and processes.
- Design, optimise, and manage digital business processes, implementing solutions with agility.
- Integrate additional IT systems and automate workflows.
- Customise and develop solutions, primarily using Python, based on the main topic.
- Conduct coaching, workshops, and client acquisition activities.
Your profile:
- Completed STEM or business degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including IT consulting and/or ERP exposure
- A minumum of 3 years eperience in Odoo
- Proficiency in general business processes and data structures
- Programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL
- ERP process knowledge (e.g., finance, logistics) and industry expertise (especially e-commerce)
- Familiarity with agile project methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Traits: analytical, organised, dependable, and self-reliant
