My client, a top Private Credit Asset Manager is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their expanding team to handle internal fund accounting. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for assigned properties
  
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
  
• Review and manage tenant ledgers, rent rolls, and lease information
  
• Work with property managers to track income and expenses
  
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
  
• Complete CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations
  
• Assist with budgeting and financial audits
  
• Help train and support junior accounting staff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• 1-5 years of property accounting experience
  
• Familiar with GAAP and real estate accounting
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
