Senior SQL Database Administrator - Rolling Contract - 90% Remote work

I am working closely with a Fortune 500 client within the Payment industry as they go through a hyper-growth phase with two positions available for senior SQL DBA's as they go through an On-prem to Cloud migration

Selected candidates will own all aspects from and not limited to licensing, installation,
troubleshooting, network requests, cost approval and migration.

What you need to qualify

● Strong experience working within 24/7/365 business-critical systems
● Exposure to working in a PCI Compliant environment
● Previous experience implementing cloud database monitoring and alerting solutions
● Understanding of PowerShell \ Perl to automate repetitive tasks
● Experience with best practice implementation and management of SQL Server 2016,
AlwaysOn and Windows Clustering with a focus on administration and troubleshooting
● Strong T-SQL scripting skills and ability to carry out SQL code reviews to assure accuracy and
adherence to standards
● Documentation skills to ensure a knowledge base is maintained between the team and broader
organisation

Experience with PowerBI, Building SSIS packages to ETL data and working within cloud environments is a bonus!
