A leading specialty insurer operating across the US and Europe, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This Company was just listed as a "top 100 alternative management firm". With their high M&A model, they average about 19 legacy acquisitions per year and have a cutting edge investment strategy. Job Title: Staff Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Post journals in GL including GAAP Adjustments
• Run Intercompany reconciliations
• Run bank reconciliation process
• Upload of external files in SAP journal template
• Run batch jobs to pass external system data into the GL
• Post journals for accruals / deferrals / reversals
• Manages the extraction and upload of necessary investment journal files from Clearwater to SAP
• Works with the Sub Ledger Processing and Treasury teams

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• SAP experience preferred
• Experience in continual improvement
• Experience around managing data quality and data traceability for reporting

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 + bonus
