We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Engineer to join an expanding team for a reputable business in Derby.

This business has been growing throughout the pandemic and are now looking to further improve the support function within the business.

This role will involve supporting a blend of IT, business systems & applications, some bespoke to the business and some you may already be familiar with!

This will be a broad role touching upon various technologies from everyday IT Support to working on their databases.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience providing 2nd line IT Support
• Experience working with ticketing systems
• Basic knowledge / experience with SQL is essential, being able to read basic queries, perform basic lookups, joins etc
• Strong communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and take on new technologies.
• Experience working alongside developers and / or on other types of technical teams is desirable.
