It is likely the successful candidate will carry:-
- Experience in working closely and managing relationships with Vendors / delivery partners within shared services environments and offshore Delivery Centres
- Demonstrable service delivery experience.
- Strong Experience over two or more of the following categories - Technology, Infrastructure, FM, HR, Finance, Contingent Labour.
- Knowledge of outsourced contracts, billing and vendor framework models
- Builds long-term, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders and influencers
- Influences the business on commercial and operational decisions to maximise value
- Provides Subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices to add significant value to their stakeholders
- Contract and legal knowledge
The role will entail:
- Vendor relationship accountability over several internal and external vendor engagements, with a focus on driving performance and value from our global internal vendors.
- Ensuring strong vendor management processes are operating successfully while working alongside Subject Matter Experts to ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external standards and policies
- Implementing and operating solid vendor/delivery partner governance
- Maintains effective tracking of vendor/delivery partner spend and cost management across our Vendor Management estate including invoicing and payments
- Works closely with the various our Service Delivery Leads to manage costs of vendor/delivery partners and identifies potential areas of cost savings based on services and the commercial position
- Drives and cultivating reporting and production of meaningful vendor/delivery partner data
- Works in close collaboration with compliance, legal and risk management teams to apply and manage the associated vendor/delivery partner risk management principles
- Accountable for commercial and contractual negotiations with vendor/delivery partners
- Work closely with the various Service Delivery Leads to manage costs of vendor/delivery partners
- Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
