We’re hiring an experienced Android Architect for a 6-month day rate contract with a leading client in Dublin. You’ll drive the architecture of Android solutions across key product areas, working closely with mobile, backend, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable features.
Responsibilities include:

Defining and evolving Android architecture and tech stack

Leading technical design and code review processes

Collaborating with cross-functional teams on security, performance, and integration

Supporting mobile teams with clean architecture and modern Android practices

Contributing to payment integrations (NFC, tokenization, AppSync, etc.)
Requirements:

Expert in Kotlin, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Android architecture patterns

Strong experience in Android security and compliance (PCI-DSS a plus)

Hands-on experience with mobile payments, hardware integrations, or POS systems is desirable

Strong communicator and technical leader

Available to be onsite in Dublin 1-2 days per week
