Principal Actuarial Consultant – P&C

The Role:

  • Lead and execute actuarial functions focusing on reserving and reporting initiatives within commercial sectors
  • Lead complex client engagements, including managing overall service delivery and strategy for projects associated with calculating risk, determining ideal liability/claims reserve for a range of property and casualty risk exposures, and developing products for monitoring ongoing liability (such as dashboards.)
  • Manage, coach, and mentor senior consultants and analysts; review deliverables; uphold high technical and professional standards.
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive business development activities, including guiding the preparations of proposals and presentations prospective clients.
  • Exposure to high impact, diverse engagements across leading insurance and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • ACAS/FCAS Credentials Required
  • 8+ Years of Actuarial Consulting or Industry experience focused on Property & Casualty, including leadership of actuarial teams
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related discipline.
