A leading P&C carrier is looking to hire two Senior Claims Specialist – TPA Oversigh for their complex casualty claims team. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for providing oversight on a caseload of complex commercial general liability and commercial auto injury claims that are being handled by a panel of TPAs. You will provide claims guidance, litigation and coverage advice to ensure claims are being handled in line with time and quality expectations for the carrier. You will also drive TPA strategy across the claims group.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 7+ years complex commercial general liability claims experience essential (gained at an insurance carrier)
- 5+ years complex commercial auto BI claims experience essential (including large loss)
- Direct experience handling complex, large losses above $500,000 in value (GL & Commercial Auto)
- Excellent knowledge of wide ranging bodily injury types including complex litigated matters
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing own coverage letters/RORs)
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- The ability to act as a technical lead and provide advice to other adjusters
- Experience managing TPA relationships and driving TPA strategy – highly preferred
- JD Law essential. Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states essential
This role is on a hybrid schedule (2 days in office per week only) from NYC, NJ, Atlanta GA, Chicago IL, Hartford CT, Scottsdale AZ or Los Angeles CA. The role has an excellent base salary range from $144,000-$176,000 + 15% annual bonus.
