Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of insurance claims experience, including commercial liability
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing claims teams
  • Expertise across multiple commercial lines (e.g., liability, professional, property)
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally (e.g., underwriting, actuarial)
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and claims governance
  • Ability to manage reserves, expenses, and financial performance
  • Experience working with external counsel and claims experts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced legal or industry credentials preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required professional licenses
