Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of insurance claims experience, including commercial liability
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing claims teams
- Expertise across multiple commercial lines (e.g., liability, professional, property)
- Strong strategic thinking and operational management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally (e.g., underwriting, actuarial)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and claims governance
- Ability to manage reserves, expenses, and financial performance
- Experience working with external counsel and claims experts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced legal or industry credentials preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain required professional licenses
