IT Project Manager (Contract) – Cork (Hybrid)
12-month Daily Rate Contract | Global Enterprise Client
We are hiring an experienced IT Project Manager on behalf of a global organisation for their Cork-based technology delivery function. This is a 12-month daily rate contract supporting large-scale IT infrastructure and software delivery programmes.
You will lead end-to-end delivery of compute, network, and software solutions across multiple business units in a fast-moving enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Manage cross-functional delivery of infrastructure (compute/network) and software initiatives
- Drive planning, governance, RAID management, and stakeholder communication
- Work closely with architecture, engineering, security, and vendors
- Own delivery plans, milestones, and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, risks, and dependencies across global teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- Use Azure DevOps for tracking, reporting, and sprint management
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in enterprise environments
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and software projects (compute, network, cloud, applications)
- Strong experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Exposure to cloud / hybrid infrastructure environments
- Vendor and third-party management experience
- Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments
- Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience managing global or multi-site project teams
- Strong governance, reporting, and documentation skills
- PMP / PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
