QA Lead – Insurance

We are seeking a QA Lead to help ourMNC Insurance client to deliver their Digital Platform related project testing.

In this role, you will own and guide QA strategy, lead testing execution across releases, and partner closely with IT, Business, and Vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate QA efforts for insurance application(s) across the full delivery lifecycle (planning, execution, release readiness).
  • Define and maintain QA strategy, test plans, and quality metrics for product releases.
  • Ensure thorough test coverage for critical user journeys such as underwriting workflows, quoting, policy administration, claims, and billing (as applicable).
  • Collaborate with developers to improve defect prevention, testability, and development quality standards.
  • Drive root-cause analysis for major defects and ensure corrective and preventive actions are tracked.
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support compliance-minded quality processes (e.g., auditability, traceability, documentation) as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA/testing experience, with 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience testing web applications and mobile applications, including integration testing.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to drive alignment across teams.
  • Experience in insurance, fintech, healthcare, or other regulated domains is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira / Azure DevOps / TestRail (or similar).
