We are partnering with a leading, highly respected organization in the insurance space to hire a Workers’ Compensation Adjuster. * This is a FULLY REMOTE ROLE *
The Role
You will manage a caseload of Workers’ Compensation claims from cradle to grave, handling primarily lost time claims across a mix of national accounts and middle-market accounts, including both insured and self-insured programs. This is a desk-based adjusting role with strong operational support and structured processes in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims end-to-end, with a focus on lost time claims
- Maintain organized and compliant claim files with high-quality documentation
- Evaluate coverage, liability, and exposure; set and adjust reserves within authority
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and follow escalation protocols as needed
- Deliver consistent, timely communication with all parties involved
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience
- Strong experience handling lost time claims (preferred)
- California Workers’ Compensation knowledge is essential
- Active California designation/license required
- Ability to manage claims cradle to grave independently
- Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills
- Adaptability and willingness to work within structured processes and templates
