I’m currently partnering with an industry leading financial services organisation to hire a Senior Data & AI Engineer to join their growing data function in Dublin.
You’ll work on production-grade systems that combine modern data engineering with applied AI, including emerging LLM and RAG use cases.

My client requires 3 days per week onsite the office, located in Dublin City centre and 2 working from home.
This role is initially a 12-Month Daily Rate contract with view of extension. You must hold either a Stamp 4 Visa or Irish/UK/EU Citizenship.
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience in Python-based data & ML engineering (data pipelines, model integration, production workflows)
- Hands-on with Azure data & ML services (e.g. Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, ML pipelines)
- Experience deploying and integrating models via Azure Machine Learning
- Working knowledge of Azure OpenAI Service for LLM-powered use cases
- Experience with Azure AI Search (vector search, hybrid retrieval)
- Proven experience building or supporting RAG pipelines (embeddings, chunking, retrieval, evaluation)
- Strong understanding of ML lifecycle & MLOps (training, deployment, monitoring, model/version control)
- Solid grounding in data modelling, data quality, and lineage
- Familiarity with DataOps / CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
- Awareness of AI governance, model risk, and regulatory compliance (especially in financial services)
