Senior Solutions Architect

We’re hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to support a major greenfield modernisation programme and lead our transition into AWS. Historically, the business has operated with Technical Leads and Business Analysts, and this new senior hire will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a modernised architecture across a major greenfield transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead solution design and architectural direction for a large AWS migration programme.
- Shape end-to-end solutions, working side-by-side with Business Analysts and senior stakeholders.
- Develop system and application roadmaps aligned to enterprise standards.
- Review designs, enforce best practices, support Agile/DevSecOps adoption.
- Identify technical risks and create mitigation strategies.
- Produce clear architecture documentation and present proposals for approval.
- Promote new technologies and help embed modern cloud, API, and integration patterns.
What You’ll Bring
- 6-7+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture (senior level).
- Strong cloud background AWS essential, Azure nice to have.
- Experience with large-scale migrations and modernisation.
- Strong stakeholder management
- Background in insurance, engineering, or inspection (beneficial but not essential).
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, API design, microservices, and DevSecOps.
- TOGAF or similar certification is a plus.
