Tax Manager – 12-month FTC

12-month Fixed-term Contract (initially)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee corporate income tax compliance across the EMEA region, while supporting quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision processes and budgeting activities.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring accurate indirect tax filings and payment compliance for Irish entities and their associated branches. This includes reviewing work completed by finance teams in India, as well as addressing queries and escalations.
  • Manage relationships with third-party outsourcing providers and collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Legal, and HR. You will also work closely with both local and cross-border service teams, building strong professional networks domestically and internationally.
  • Deliver commercially focused, practical tax advice and support to internal and external stakeholders in relation to local operations across all tax areas.
  • Ensure adherence to local transfer pricing regulations in line with the overall business structure.
  • Support a range of tax initiatives, including BEPS 2/GLoBE, withholding tax matters, group financing, and transfer pricing projects.
  • Ensure timely resolution of queries raised by auditors and tax authorities.
  • Contribute to ongoing tax training and knowledge-sharing initiatives across other departments.
  • Help design, maintain, and enhance processes and controls in line with the requirements of a growing multinational organisation.

You may also be asked to undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the nature of the role.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant or tax professional (CTA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Strong ability to communicate technical tax concepts clearly to non-technical audiences at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload and independently lead small projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proactive, “can-do” mindset with strong analytical judgement-able to identify issues, investigate root causes, connect data points, and draw sound, practical conclusions.
  • Significant experience in tax within the international tax compliance is preferred.
  • Experience with Hyperion Smart View and Oracle is an advantage.
  • Big 4 experience is beneficial but not essential.
