Responsibilities:
- The Consulting Actuary will work on a variety of due diligence and analytical efforts, including support across reinsurance and acquisition processes, both in the US and globally
- Prepare and present findings to C-Suite Executives, investment committees, and acquisition teams
- Clients will include top tier reinsurance and insurance companies, alternative asset managers, private equity firms, investment banks, law firms, and regulators
- Collaborate across actuarial, finance, tax, legal, strategy and risk teams
- Review of Actuarial reports, loss ratio projection, pricing and underwriting practices, etc.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on exposure/loss data to uncover important business shifts; decompose complex data sets into simple recommendations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial consulting or insurance
- Minimum ACAS, FCAS Preferred
- Strong Communication Skills
- Prior M&A Experience is Preferred
