Oliver James are representing an exciting and dynamic start-up Reinsurance company, who require an Actuarial contractor to build a new Longevity model
The client is offering a day-rate contract position with 100% home working. The position is available on a full time or part time basis.
The Qualified or Part Qualified actuary should have significant experience of Longevity modelling within Reinsurance, including knowledge of Longevity swaps/transactions.
This contract is available on a Full Time, Part time or flexible working arrangement.
Location: Home working (UK Hours) - UK or EU based.
IR35: (If UK based): Outside IR35
Duration: 3-6 months
Start: Ideally by Mid September
Role: Build a longevity model (in excel or similar)
Required experience:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Life Actuary with Reinsurance experience
- Previous experience of building longevity models
- Good knowledge of longevity swaps/transactions
- Able to work autonomously and deliver results from a remote environment
