We are seeking a seasoned and driven Deputy Company Secretary to join our client's dynamic Group Legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the corporate governance framework of one of of Asia's most respected financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Organise and coordinate board and committee meetings across multiple business entities, and prepare accurate and timely minutes.
Support the preparation and submission of annual returns and corporate filings in compliance with the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, Insurance Ordinance, and other regulatory requirements.
Provide company secretarial expertise to ongoing and ad-hoc group projects.
Maintain and update statutory records, company registers, and filings.
Develop, review, and implement corporate governance policies and standards across the Group.
Supervise and mentor supporting company secretarial staff on delegated tasks and ensure high-quality output.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified professional: Member of HKICS/ICSA or a qualified solicitor.
Minimum 15 years relevant experience, preferably within the insurance, banking, or financial services sector.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Proven experience in preparing minutes for board and committee meetings.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with a proactive approach.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong team leadership capabilities.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
