D365 CE Platform Lead
Oliver James are partnered with a rapidly growing Financial Services organisation, who are investing heavily in their people, operations, and technology to optimize ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
As the business expands, and following an implementation of Dynamics 365 CE, they are looking for a permanent D365 Platform Lead to oversee and coordinate the D365 team and drive the technical delivery and quality of the team as they continue to roll the system out globally.
This is a pivotal leadership role, that will encompass both direct management of Developers and Analysts within the CRM team, support, security and improvement of the CRM system, and delivering solutions in accordance to strategy.

Role and Responsibilities
- Lead daily team operations, facilitating ceremonies and clearing roadblocks.
- Collaborate with Architecture to shape technical vision supporting business goals.
- Partner with product owners to manage roadmaps and backlogs.
- Efficiently allocate resources to meet business demands, ensuring project consistency.
- Define and improve technical standards with the Technical Lead.
- Enforce coding best practices and standards.
- Create dynamic dashboards for proactive system monitoring.
- Oversee team development and manage permanent developers and analysts.
- Supervise contractors within the squad.
- Run engaging retrospectives for continuous team improvement.
- Drive multiple complex projects from design to release.
- Contribute to technical solutions from design to code, working with PMs and BAs.
- Support recruitment efforts with the Head of Applications and Engineering.
- Continuously improve delivery methods with innovative ideas.
Who you are:
- Expert in Software Development Lifecycle and Dynamics 365 customization
- Driven D365 automation with test teams
- Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Skilled in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL/TSQL, SQL Server
- Managed D365 deployments and pipelines
- Direct line management experience
- Developed and delivered Microsoft LogicApps
- Designed solutions with D365, LogicApps, Service Bus, Azure functions
