Context
A network management company in the energy sector is looking to strengthen its Data Acquisition team. This team handles strategic projects involving the deployment of smart meters, market data exchange platforms, integration of decentralized energy production (e.g., solar panels), and the incorporation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The analyst will primarily work with a Meter Data Management (MDM) system (EnergyIP), with opportunities to support other related applications involved in meter data collection.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, lead workshops, and propose IT-compliant solutions.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate proposed solutions.
Oversee project phases: specifications, development follow-up, testing, and deployment.
Document processes and user guides.
Serve as a functional point of reference for data acquisition systems.
Provide level 2 support for incidents.
Support change management and facilitate user adoption of new solutions.
Required Skills
At least 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
Strong experience in the IT sector.
Fluency in either French or Dutch with good comprehension of the other; strong technical English required.
Experience with EnergyIP is a strong asset
Proficient in SQL and able to interpret database structures.
Familiar with modeling techniques (UML, BPMN).
Experience using JIRA is an asset.
