Finance Change and Controls - Big 4 Consultancy - Insurance Advisory - Senior Manager
A career within the Finance Change and Controls team will provide you with the opportunity to help companies on their risk and control frameworks, general accounting and finance advisory, IFRS 9 and 17 account standards, and managing finance change programmes.
The team is formed of over 70 people and offer a broad range of services. They are happy to work as individuals or as part of multi-disciplinary teams to provide hands-on, client facing services to our clients across Insurance, banking, brokerage, and several other financial sectors - depending on your previous skills and experience as well as your own interests.
As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Leading teams to deliver a portfolio of client facing and internal projects, including monitoring engagement progress and budget
- Acting as a controls / SOx / ICFR subject matter expert on engagements and developing thought leadership
- Developing and managing relationships with senior client stakeholders across a portfolio
- Identifying and developing new client opportunities
- Managing the delivery of proposals and bids
- Developing junior team members through effective coaching and supervision
- Creating a positive and inclusive team environment
Skills required:
- Previous Consultancy experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong background in Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Brokerage)
- Strong report writing
- Leadership skills
- SOX Compliance
