Manage day-to-day fund accounting for private credit funds, including NAVs, capital activity, and investor allocations. Oversee administrators, audits, and reporting. 6+ years' experience in fund accounting (private credit preferred), strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and fund systems like Investran or eFront. CPA preferred.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fund Accounting Manager to join our finance team, with a primary focus on private credit funds. This individual will oversee fund accounting operations, ensure accurate NAV reporting, and manage third-party administrators and auditors. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of private credit structures, fund operations, and US GAAP or IFRS reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day fund accounting processes for private credit funds, including review of journal entries, capital activity, and valuations.

  • Review and approve monthly/quarterly NAV calculations prepared by fund administrators.

  • Monitor fund expenses, accruals, and cash activity, ensuring accurate reporting.

  • Oversee capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations in coordination with IR and fund operations teams.

  • Liaise with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.

  • Maintain and implement internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.

  • Support deal teams on new investment structuring from an accounting and operational standpoint.

  • Lead the annual audit process and assist with regulatory filings and investor reporting.

  • Mentor junior fund accountants or analysts (if applicable).


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

  • 6+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally with exposure to private credit or private debt strategies.

  • Experience working in fund administration, asset management, or public accounting (Big Four experience a plus).

  • Strong technical knowledge of investment vehicles, complex credit instruments, and US GAAP.

  • Familiarity with waterfall models, fee calculations (management, performance), and investor allocations.

  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with Investran, eFront, or similar fund accounting systems a plus.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
