I am currently partnering with an Insurance firm in West Sussex who are looking to bring on a bright and ambitious Accountant to their Group function.

As the new Group Accountant, you will manage the entire external reporting process, emphasising IFRS, Investment reporting, Solvency II, and Ratings. Your responsibilities include producing statutory financial statements, drafting reports for the Audit Committee, and providing technical accounting expertise to the wider finance function. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day external audit management and contribute to various group finance projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification, preferably ACA or ACCA, and possess proficient IT skills, including financial modelling systems and reporting packages. A candidate with a background in Group reporting, financial statement production, and/or audit, they bring strong technical knowledge of IFRS - would be very sought after.

The role offers a package of £50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus and other benefits.
