For a Primary FinTech Company we are looking for a smart, motivated and fluent Italian speaking sales driven individual with experience in B2B sales and in a financial services environment.

What you will be doing as an Outside Sales Executive

  • Be responsible for generating business by translating our value proposition into financing SME companies, through partnership networks and directly
  • Help define and shape our partnership strategy and our direct borrower approach together with the Italian marketing & sales team
  • Build and manage (incl. selection, training and regular review) the company's professional network of business partners leading to deal flow. These will include credit brokers, financial advisors, professional business networks, associations, as well as bank relationship managers and other relevant networks
  • Manage and coordinate the process to drive deals from lead to closure and financing
  • Track introduced loan applications, completed loans and assist with general analysis/reporting on our business network activity
  • Improve and optimise our conversion ratios in our pipeline
  • Report directly to the Head of Sales

The required essentials

  • Fluent Italian and have a full working proficiency in English
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and you love working with people!
  • At least 5-7 years' sales experience including 3 years of business development or relationship management in the SME sector (banking, corporate financing advisory, PE, fundraising or consultancy)
  • Demonstrated 'B2B-solution sales skills' preferably acquired from a lending environment.
  • Excellent communication and written skills know-how to lead discussions, negotiation or closing conversations
  • Ability to operate independently and work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment with a digital mindset
  • A good blend of commercial acumen, tactical "know-how" and not easily put off to go the extra mile to get the job done
  • An existing business network in Italy
  • Willingness to travel throughout Italy
