My client a leading global asset managment company based in Central Manchester are looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst on a permanent basis - this is an exciting opportunity to join early in their Manchester expansion, and their continued growth will enable them to keep up with the demand for innovative technical solutions to meet the needs of their growing business.

I am looking for Salesforce Specialists who will be happy to commute to my clients offices in Manchester, this role offers a mixture of office and home working.

As a Salesforce Business Analyst you will be:

* Building and supporting Salesforce applications and customisations
* Configuring and developing custom objects / apps using Salesforce.com
* Working with business users, business analysts and IT project managers to understand business requirements and delivering them
* Work with IT colleagues to design software solutions to address these requirements within the context of the Insight systems architecture and current tool set
* Develop and implement high quality software to implement the design within the agreed scope, time and budget constraints of the project, and in accordance with the Insight standards, procedures and guidelines
* Facilitate the testing and release of software solutions and the handover of systems to support
* Provide technical guidance to IT colleagues
* Provide second line support to the user community

Knowledge, skills and behaviours required:

  • Outstanding knowledge of Salesforce Lightning CRM
  • Completed and ongoing Salesforce certifications
  • Able to configure and develop custom objects / apps using Salesforce.com
  • Strong knowledge of Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM
  • Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements, in particular using Flow and Process builder
  • Experience of the role of Salesforce within the enterprise data management process
  • Data manipulation and data load preparation in Salesforce
  • Skill in collecting and interpreting data, analysing results to identify patterns and trends in structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Ability to apply suitable analytical approaches to requirements discovery, documentation and solution delivery.
  • Ability to produce detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience with the ability to effectively communicate at a level and depth appropriate to the audience.
  • Demonstrable experience of gathering requests and technical specifications.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Software development experience in a commercial environment with exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to review and advise on suitable changes to streamline processes, while identifying actual rather than perceived pain points.
  • Comfortable taking on feedback, seeking input from your team whilst seeing other people's point of view, always looking for ways to improve.
  • A thirst for knowledge and curiosity to help solve complex problems with a keen eye for detail.
  • A sense of personal responsibility and the drive to own problems, can work self-directed and independently to accomplish results

Advantageous

  • Asset management / financial services experience
  • SharePoint 2010+ knowledge
  • Knowledge of Atlassian suite - JIRA, etc.
  • Experience of digital marketing tools e.g. Marketing Cloud, Stoneshot, etc.
