Purpose:
- Identify, define, and deliver business focused solution for a strategic system migration project through analysis and critical reasoning. Lead the business facing project life-cycle phases including Requirement Definition, User Solution Reviews and User Acceptance Testing.
Responsibilities:
- Gather 'as-is' systems and process requirements, analyse to understand and minimise unnecessary variation, document 'to-be' requirements to allow business partners to prioritise and verify requirements
- Channel business input to solution design and validate against business objectives, provide input to cost benefit analysis and business case definition
- Ensure solutions are consistent with operational and technology best practice in Europe
- Coordinate and lead business reviews of process and system solution design, development, and test phases, including formal review and approvals if necessary
- Support User Acceptance testing ensuring alignment with real world business scenarios
- Prepare and execute business implementation plans including training, and change control management
- Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the project team at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
- High levels of enthusiasm, commitment, and energy required
- Must be flexible to travel within Europe as and when required (limited duration)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and SQL required,
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in developing wire frames
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations, when necessary,
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Exposure to AGILE delivery methodology
Experience Required:
- Primary or Secondary degree in a related discipline, e.g. Business Information Systems
- 5 plus years full life cycle experience in a similar position required
- Prior experience in General Insurance or Financial Services preferable
- Prior experience working in an international environment an advantage
- Prior experience with system migration projects is desirable
- Process and workflow improvement experience is an advantage
