Senior Business Analyst

We are hiring on behalf of a Life & Pensions client seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong track record in IT-enabled project delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives across cross-functional teams in a dynamic and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the elicitation, analysis, and management of business and functional requirements to deliver high-quality, value-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders through workshops and interviews to map, design, and document efficient business processes
  • Work closely with IT, development, and operations teams to shape and deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and dashboards to ensure clarity and accessibility
  • Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions to support IT and business teams in adopting new systems and processes
  • Proactively contribute to identifying and managing project and delivery risks
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management in collaboration with QA teams, while supporting business UAT activities
  • Execute and document testing activities to validate system performance and reliability

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT, ideally within the Financial Services sector
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a must
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities; experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Experience writing user stories
  • Experience in Life/Pensions is a must
  • Business readiness documentation
