💼 Asset Manager working in the Insurance Industry
💰 Base Salary: $100-150k + Bonus + High-Impact Visibility
Not your average finance role. This is a chance to step into the engine room of a rapidly scaling investment and insurance platform - one that's reshaping the way capital flows through the retirement and reinsurance space.
Backed by significant capital and an elite leadership team, this firm has quietly grown from bold newcomer to a $20B+ force across insurance, reinsurance, and asset management. Now, they're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who can speak the language of strategy, capital, and performance - and help lead the financial narrative from the inside out.
💥 The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role. You'll act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders across the insurance business - blending analytics, insight, and storytelling to drive performance across complex capital structures and investment portfolios.
🚀 What You'll Own
Tell the story behind the numbers: Deliver monthly/quarterly performance analytics, capital usage insights, and investment portfolio metrics.
Own the forecasting game: Partner across business units on annual planning, rolling forecasts, and strategic projections.
Be the CFO's right hand: Provide direct insight and analysis to leadership across insurance subsidiaries and investor platforms.
Drive investor readiness: Be the go-to person for investor reporting and board-facing deliverables.
Bridge strategy and operations: Work cross-functionally to link capital planning, reserve requirements, and financial outcomes.
Champion automation and integration: Lead initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, forecasting precision, and data-driven decisions.
🎯 What You Bring
3+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy - ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or asset management.
Strong command of life and annuity product mechanics, investment analytics, and reserve frameworks.
Financial modeling chops - Excel wizardry is a must; bonus points for tools like Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive, or Anaplan.
A mind for structure, a feel for numbers, and a voice that can influence stakeholders at every level.
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or similar. MBA, CPA, or CFA? Even better.
🌍 Why This Company?
Because you want to be in the room where the big decisions happen - not buried in spreadsheets.
Because you're excited by growth, not bound by tradition.
Because you like working with brains, not bureaucracy.
The firm is intentionally lean, refreshingly bold, and quietly becoming one of the most talked-about platforms in the insurance investment space.
