Our client, a prominent leader in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance, specializing in Property and Casualty. This pivotal role is designed to bolster the company's compliance framework and ensure adherence to regulatory reforms and standards. As you will be leading the compliance department, you will focus on adding headcount. This is a senior level role with expected progression to Chief Compliance Officer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the compliance policies and procedures across the Property and Casualty sector.
- Lead regulatory reform initiatives and ensure the organization adheres to both local and international compliance laws.
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
- Train and guide the compliance department staff on regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
- Regularly review and audit compliance practices and policies, recommending adjustments as necessary to maintain regulatory standards.
- Direct the preparation and submission of compliance reports and documents to regulatory agencies.
