Oliver James is recruiting a Senior Manager Regulatory Reporting on behalf of a leading Financial Services institution in Ireland.
This strategic leadership role will oversee a high-impact function responsible for regulatory submissions across prudential, transaction, and disclosure requirements.
The successful candidate will lead a specialised team focused on timely, accurate, and complete reporting to regulators. The role will also involve senior stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, team development, and systems optimisation to ensure continued regulatory obligations are met to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Lead the Regulatory Reporting team, ensuring output meets the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Oversee submission of all prudential returns to the Central Bank of Ireland, including COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, resolution reporting, and ad hoc regulatory deliverables.
Maintain ongoing compliance with shareholder disclosure regulations, including short selling and takeover requirements.
Own and monitor the outsourced regulatory reporting service agreement, ensuring service quality and operational continuity.
Assess and implement automation initiatives and continuous process improvements, including development of centralised data depositories and reporting enhancements.
Lead the design and documentation of robust controls, review checklists, and data lineage workflows.
Coach and mentor the Regulatory Reporting team, overseeing performance objectives, training plans, and professional development.
Knowledge & Experience
A minimum of 8 years' experience in regulatory reporting within financial services.
Previous experience as a senior or deputy lead within a regulatory reporting function.
Detailed knowledge of CBI regulatory returns (e.g., COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, resolution), transaction reporting regimes, and associated technologies.
A third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Proven experience dealing with regulatory bodies, particularly the Central Bank of Ireland.
Deep understanding of Treasury and financial trading products.
