Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Base Salary Range DOE: $130-160k

We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in both Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments, to join a high-performing technical operations team. This individual will play a central role in the administration of mission-critical, high-availability on-prem infrastructure, supporting global data delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support secure, stable infrastructure across production, test, and development environments.
- Administer and harden Linux (RHEL 8) and Windows servers to meet strict security and availability standards.
- Automate system management tasks using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or similar configuration management solutions.
- Oversee patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage centralized authentication systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
- Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis of incidents.
- Maintain accurate documentation for procedures, configurations, and system architecture.
- Respond to and resolve escalated operational issues, often working with external vendors and geographically distributed teams.
- Support system-level testing for performance, redundancy, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to policy and process improvements for infrastructure reliability and security posture.
Skilled Needed:
- Strong hands-on (8 years+) experience administering both Linux (RHEL 8) and Windows systems in an enterprise setting.
- Experience with centralized identity management (LDAP, AD), virtualization, and scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Solid understanding of system and network monitoring tools and best practices.
- Experience working in environments governed by strict security controls or compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to work effectively across distributed teams and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required as eligibility for a Public Trust Clearance may be required.
