We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our clients growing team in Dublin. This is a fully on site position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, optimising and architecting database infrastructure, including working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, support and optimise database systems to ensure high performance and availability

• Design and implement scalable and robust database architectures

• Manage cloud-based database platforms, including Microsoft Azure SQL or similar

• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues

• Develop and maintain database backup, recovery and security strategies

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on database-related initiatives.
