M&A & Corporate Counsel

Overview
A company is seeking an attorney to support its corporate transactions and general commercial work. This role will work closely with senior leaders on strategic initiatives and day-to-day legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on business transactions and related projects.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements.

• Conduct and coordinate due diligence activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align legal documents with business objectives.

• Assist with corporate governance and general legal matters as needed.

• Identify risks, offer practical solutions, and support ongoing operational needs.

Requirements

• 6-12+ years of experience

• BigLaw or strong boutique M&A background (In-house is a plus)

• Hands-on deal lead experience (drafting AND negotiating)

• Commercial contracts + general corporate work

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with experience in transactional or corporate work.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

• Salary: ~$225,000-$250,000 + bonus + benefits
